[TYPO3-dev] triggers

i did search typo3 workd about "triggers" and found nothing!!

nobody feels that some trigger functions would be good inside typo3?

(yes i know i can write an ext that hooks TCE... etc..) but something easier.


i would see it like this:

a trigger is an action (to be defined maybe quite like actions..
(could be "call my ext function", or SQL query, or send email to BE user..)
and an event type (onCreate, onModify, onDelete, onMove ...)

every page/content element can have a trigger selector.


what do you think?
