I think ab_linklist can be used (it has many features now).

I did search some month ago, finally I decided to made project with 
phpMydirectory.com integration to TYPO3 (this propject www.a-isearch.com).


There is also one custom ext (not public), made by a russian person
for site http://prazdnik-land.ru
