Everybody,

After many years as a happy TYPO3 user and evangelist, I am happy to
announce my first contribution back to the community: my first TYPO3
extension, the Atom Feed Publisher (jl_atom).

http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/jl_atom

Atom Feed Publisher lets you easily generate syndication feeds in Atom
format (http://www.atomenabled.org/) from your TYPO3 site, with just a
few lines of TypoScript. Right now it focuses on "what's new" types of
feeds based on the structure of your pagetree, but it could easily be
extended to support many other types of feeds.

One of the few areas where TYPO3 has been lagging other open source
CMSes has been in the realm of syndication, so it's my hope that this
will be of use to many.

I'm posting this to encourage you to check it out, and to say THANKS to
everybody on the mailing-lists and on #typo3 who helped me work the
kinks out!

So, thanks! ;-)

P.S. There's still a few bugs in the code that need working out; they
are all clearly outlined in the manual. If you have ideas on how to fix
those bugs, feel free to drop me a line anytime! I can always use the
help :-D
