[TYPO3-dev] ter_update_check into core for 4.2?

Hi Christian,

I really like your extension (I use it with almost every installation) 
and I'd like to see it in the core for 4.2, although I think we could 
integrate that feature a bit tighter into the existing EM (also in terms 
of usability). I don't have the perfect solution yet... lemme think 
about it for a bit.
