How can you like what it does or how, if you don't use the option to
influence it? 

There is a reason why a common developrs library has been started. I also
don't like the reason, but the reason needs an answer. Ignoring it, is no
solution.

If every developer put's an own library into TER, it makes things worse.
Additionnally there is danger in this like pp_chashchecker has shown,
because who does control it? For years the community not even points out
the caching defects origined from extensions, that are that much in the
focus like tt_news or kickstarter. How should control work for the way of
multiple different libs than, the way you obviously support.
