[TYPO3-dev] Coordinating usage of prototype and Co.

Hello world,

What is the TYPO3-slick-way-of-doing-things (better known as *T3SWODT*) 
to avoid inclusion of multiple versions of prototype and other js 
libraries (like scriptaculous) when more than one plugin have to 
include'em on the same page ?

Declaring extensions that do this as dependancy (ext:prototypejs, 
ext:scriptaculous, ext:bg_scriptaculous, ext:moo_fx)? and what about the 
version of the lib ?

And another question more or less related:

What's the method to declare a dependancy to an extension with 
restriction on the version of the extension ?? (It seems that 
kickstarter don't allow to do such things)
