[TYPO3-dev] Feedback Request: Inline-Relational-Record-Editing

Hi developers,

at the end of september I announced to work on a thing called
"Inline-Relational-Record-Editing (IRRE)" (or formerly "dynbeedit"). Now
that almost one month of working has passed, this project is nearly
finished.

At the next weekend (10th-12th november 2006) Ingmar Schlecht and
Sebastian Kurfürst will travel to Hof and will do a code-review and make
a decision whether to put IRRE into the TYPO3 core or not. Thank you
Ingmar and Sebastian for taking the time and for your great support!

There is a tarball, a modified 4.1-dev SVN version that carries the
"IRRE"-implementations, mostly in t3lib/class.t3lib_tceforms_inline.php.
And there also is a test-suite that shows you some examples, how you can
use the new "inline" type in the TYPO3 Backend.

There are also some wiki pages, that demonstrate how IRRE could be used
and configured (see [2], [3] and [4] below). There is also a possibility
of setting up bidirectional symmetric relations with attributes on each,
so just have a look.

I'd like you - the TYPO3 developers - to ask, to check this project and
the possibilities coverd inside. Please play around with the TCA
configuration extremely and try whatever you'd like to. And after that,
you're welcome to post your feedback, bug-messages, feature-requests, or
whatever here on the list.
