Ok. IMO separating page types 1 and 2 is *totally artificial*.
The same concerns *Not in menu* - useless if the checkbox 'Not in menu'
just could change the icon in the site tree.
Many other page types are resonable and it is reasonable to have with
them own setting (external url and shortcut need just specific info).
But some many core files and extension need 'doktype' info, especially
backgend site tree and FE menus. Typo3 uses so much the field 'doctype'
that removing it would cause drastic changes.
