[TYPO3-dev] RC1 / utf-8 problem

btw.: I'm using the TYPO3_CONF_VARS option 'SET NAMES utf8' and 'SET 
CHARACTER_SET utf-8'; the DB is mysql/utf-8

I just tried it again and had a strange error in win/firefox: when I 
reloaded the page again and again, the site switched from broken umlauts 
to correct ones back and forth, while mac/safari always rendered them 
broken.
