Do you think it would be too complicated to do it the way I proposed in 
my posting before?

In Brief: Why not have a special config type in the TCA for 
MM-Plus-Attribute cases? Then all the additional fields (the ones beside 
the 3 fields you marked as required 2 uid's + sorting) get rendered in 
the palette / on the sheet of the element browser.

To have the option for n relations, a button should exist to add another 
set of fields. Or it should be "self-extending" and render always one 
set more than relations in the MM table exist.
