I think the problem is that very few know how to help more.
TER2 is being "beta-tested" by everyone that is using it, and the bug
reports are being posted (bugs.typo3.org).
I would gladly take a look at the code, propose some patches here and
there, but I have no idea where this code is located.
I propose that:
- extensions
- TS-code
- configuration-files (localconf.php etc)
- css-files and relevant resources
of typo3.org are put under some public CVS. It doesn't matter if the
code is unreadable, if its not documented, or if its ugly! It should
just be made public.
That way, I could recreated more or less my own "typo3.org" here on my
dev-server, others could that that too. It would then be very easy for
us to help out in a very fast and effective way: by submitting patches
to you guys. I think reviewing a patch is much faster for you guys than
having to think about how to solve a problem by yourself.
What do you think?
