Well - I currently do not have the time to work on the imageedit extension - this
was a little thing i required some time ago.

But if you like you can take any part of my code (the one for rotating an image via
SVG = preview) and use it for your own extension (GPL !!)

If the T3X I posted has not all the features available (blur and that stuff) then I
must say I have a newer version lying somewhere around here ....

I didn't have a look at Peters image editing extension so I can't say how advanced
it is and which one should get developed further.


I think the big advantage of mine is the tree-like history which you can use to go back
to any point of editing in the image.

Recently I used the MW Imagemap extension - first I feared i had to input the coordinates
via hand (as numbers) but then I was totally fascinated that they use the vector drawing
library from Walter Zorn ( http://walterzorn.de/ ) whose Drag&Drop libraries I use in my
image editing extension (This Walter Zorn is a really freaky guy - we should get him to
TYPO3 somehow :)

Using this vector drawing routines it would also be possible to "draw" into an image ...
render the preview with the vector drawing routines on the client then let the real drawing
happen on the server.
