[TYPO3-dev] Service extension for cal

Hi list,

as you might have seen, a new calendar extension is available: cal

Jeff and I have been working on this extension for quite some time now.
It is a TYPO3 integration of the phpicalendar project with some new
features like:
- public- & private events
- event subsribtion

Its structure allows other developer to create services which include
events from almost anywhere.
To show you how easy this could be done, I have created a service which
connects to tt_news and shows them as events in the calendar.

Currently both extensions, cal and cal_tt_news_service, are
experimental, but with your help we might be able to release a beta
version soon.

So please test it and tell us in the calendar newsgroup what you think.
