Hi!
I didn't rea the whole thread, but just 3 nice pieces of information:
1) I'm the webmaster of a school website (www.ess-erfurt.de)
2) We use TYPO3, with several comment systems, mailbox - forms, chcboard 
and many other form driven exts.
3) We got more than 30 bot-written spam entries requesting our students 
to buy more viagra. And this is only the number of our chc board of the 
last 5 days!


So: Yeah, please guys, implement a ready to go captcha system or at 
least an other thing, which can prevent spam entries. This should be 
done at least for those who aren't registered as a FE user..
