I'm sorry, but I can't give you the corresponding API reference as I don't
know where all the treeview stuff is located :(

| No. Did you add the treename to the feInterface Section?

Do you mean something like
'feInterface' => $TCA['tx_ablinklist_category']['feInterface'],
in tca.php?
I also included the treeName in flexform_ds.xml...
