[TYPO3-dev] Bug on/off switch in typo3, defaults to bug on

Do you want to say that there was a time without pagefloat, and that
in this time, the page browser exposed the same useless behaviour I
described in my first mail, only there was no way to change it?

Would a patch be accepted that changes the default value for pagefloat
to be "center"?

(Or rather as this a one line change, it would be easier for a
developer to just change the code and commit rather than for him to
extract a patch from his mail, apply the patch and commit).
