[TYPO3-dev] RealURL: bypass and lookupTable, missing feature?

Hi,

damn, it doesn't work as expected. I tried to use the bypass feature, 
but now I found that I had just luck with my URLs and it seemed to 
work... How does the bypass feature work? How does the system know which 
parameter is whick if one gets bypassed?

Does anyone know?
