Martin, you're missing the point--you CAN'T use document.write with
xhtml _served as xhtml_. The point of my reintroducing the (apparently
very shocking) idea the TYPO3 should support the current HTML 4.01
standard AS WELL AS xhtml was that virtually _nobody_ actually uses
xhtml in a way that is understood differently from html in browsers
anyway, AND that (compared to other problems that have been solved in
T3), support for both current standards should be relatively easy to
implement.
