To boost the discussion, I ask Michael to setup a new newsgroup core-5.0
to split of the volume from this list.

Then for myself I will explain my ideas in detail step by step.

If there are interested members we could also discuss aspects in phone
conferences/irc. At least it's necessary to help many people
understanding the way the other's think.

If the core-5.0 team is small at the beginning, it should not be a
problem to test if a development process like the eclipse way it
possible for us. At least it would generate practical prototypes on a
very regular base.

So let's brainstorm/prototype :)
