Agree! It add complexity. But I also discovered it don't bother the editors.
I'm working with a relaunch of a site. They are moving from PostNuke to TYPO3.
Because of need to rewrite most of the content, they didn't want any converting
of old stuff. We are not using workspaces, and the three editors don't find
it confusing with the workspaces (As they don't see much of it). They are
only allowed to edit live.
