I agree that workspaces add to the complexity of the UI. I think I won't 
suggest my users to upgrade because of the necessary addtional training 
required for their staff.

While I think that worksapces are a must for enterprise sites they might 
not always be necessary. I have to admit that I also mused whtether a 
switch to turn them off would be a good idea.
