No problem. I was actually working on this:
http://blog.mitka.us/1and1/ when I got these errors and so far I am
waiting to resolve all that.

Can you download the tests at http://mitka.us/xmltest/xmltest.tgz and
see if they are failing on 1&1's european servers as well?

test.php fails when executed via webserver, (500), works fine in CLI
test2.php works fine both ways
test3.php fails in CGI, works in CLI
test4.php works fine.
