[TYPO3-dev] TYPO3 V4.0 produces coredump

Coredump? Are you sure your hardware is ok? I'd say errors in PHP would 
be caught at a much higher level, way before forcing the webserver to go 
hara kiri. Personally I've never seen a PHP script actually kill Apache 
due to a bug in the script. The PHP module could bring Apache down, but 
that'd mean there's a bug upstream somewhere in PHP or Apache itself.

I must add though that I do only PHP development and know very little 
about how the underlying technology exactly ties together so I could 
very well be wrong..

PS. Celebrating 4.0 by sitting here in a lonely office, waiting for a 
particular PHB to call demanding an upgrade of their 
core-hacked-and-hacked-again mutant 3.6 installation..
