[TYPO3-dev] Extending pi_exec_query

Hi,

what does this list think about extending the pi_exec_query, so that it 
is possible to query more than one MM-relation. I thought about a 
two-dimensional MM-array as parameter in the function call.
But I'm not sure, if we can modify only the existing function or we have 
to write a new one because of compatibility reasons.

What do you think?
