[TYPO3-dev] kickstarter doesn't save newly created extensions in 4.0rc3

It seems as if my kickstarter refuses to save any new extension with 4.0rc3.
No matter if I try to save in the local or global directory.
Write permissions must be properly set, since I can download and install
other extensions without any problems.

TYPO3 4.0rc3
kickstarter 0.2.1

Could anyone reproduce this bug or maybe tell me what I've been missing?
