Hello Tapio,

Don't agree. Have used TV since 2004 (july), even as alpha, never had any
problems. And it works on large production sites.

When TV is installed, the only logical web>page to use is TV. It's not necessary
to use two, confuses the users. So the only detection needed: TV installed
= false/true. Standard is always installed, but you can hide the the modul
when you install TV (or later). Remember that the content columns in standard
pagemodul doesn't mean anything for TV. TV isn't column based.

Even if I like your attempt, and the idea behind, I'm not sure I think your
solution is the right one. Some argument.
- I don't think xclassing is the right solution (maybe it is the only way
you could have achived your goal today)
- I don't think extensions should be used to make usability better. It should
be a part of the system (or every extension). I know that you did not had
the opportunity to do something with the core, but I want to put my engagement
in ver 4.5.

Some of your good ideas are:
- The ability to turn on/of text.
- The ability to use text besides icons.

WBR,
