Yes. That's my point. If many people label something as dead, interest
of developlement is soon also dead!
I have spend a lot of time developing BE interface - this development 
has nothing to do templating systems as such but improvements relates 
primary with the standard page module.

The standard page module and TemplaVoila would resemlble more each 
others. It is not a big task to do that.

I made a some new alternative. In the screen capture below layout for 
each content element resembles TemplaVoila:

These are in the same order:

1) Icon + header

2) Buttons

3) Content

If you want, you could drop off extra info. It is just a matter of interest!
