Of course, since AFAIK you are forced to use TV templating if you want to
use the TV BE interface.
Nothing against improvements of the BE interface, but if the "improvement"
requires a complete change of the templating method I don't think it's a
good idea to promote this as "the future" while other techniques are
labelled "dead" ...
