Yes, 'stfl_tmpl2columns' is great.

A UI overhaul has been planned for 4.5, so I think there will be interest.
But it'll probably depend on the state of TV, though. Currently TV is
not shipped as a system extension. If it will and even more if it
becomes the default than web>pages will truely be dead.

Oh so true! I remember that I had a hard time to understand and remember
what DS and TO actually mean. Sometimes naming is just a matter of
style, but DS and TO are awkward choices.
