[Typo3-dev] Single-Sign-On with CAS

Hello,

i want to implement a single-sign-on solution upon the (opensource) Yale CAS Server. I have to integrate (next to some other 
webapps like Novell Netstorage) TYPO33. Are there any experiences integrating TYPO3 and CAS (with the PHP Client libs).
A solution could be to modify the login code that it checks for a CAS ticket instead of validating the password.
