Hi,
I'm interested to find out how Typo3 could be used to generate web pages
that include Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG).
Compared to Macromedia Flash generated vector graphics, SVG hasn't played a
big role on websites yet, but now there are more and more browsers available
that support the display of SVG graphics natively (Opera 8, Firefox 1.5
Beta). In a few month there might be further (maybe experimental, maybe
arty) websites using SVG to demonstrate the possibilities of this standard.
It would be nice if a part of these websites would be based on Typo3... ;o)
I know that there are a lot of important development tasks to be worked on
within the Typo3 community and that SVG support is not part of them. But at
the moment I personally am eager to play a bit in this area and see in which
ways SVG could be used with Typo3.
For a start I have written a basic tutorial about how to integrate inline
SVG areas into a Typo3 based websites - without any existing or upcoming
extensions (though extenstions would make it much more elegant). I would
like to know your opinion on this approach. If you like please visit my
website and have a look at this tutorial:

I would appreciate any comments / criticism from you because it helps me to
decide how to proceed with this hobby. Thanks!
Best regards,
Henning
