 Take a look at the papers:

 (though that doesn't tell me anything new (I've read all the mentioned
 books myself), and PHPUnit2 is for PHP5 only, AND this is all theoretical blabla and
 not HOW you can apply that to TYPO3 (which is built "somehow different" :-)
 than all this shiny example applications)
