[Typo3-dev] developing environment

Are you saying this because you know my answer is there or just because?
I already included some of the paths there, but I was mainly wondering how  
you guys do things....

Right now I have a local copy of T3 on my machine and directly edit the  
php files I need to edit, so I see changes right away. Any comments on  
that?
