Well, that works in a perfect world.... but the world is not perfect!!!

Our templates are quite complex, we use TV for all our base templates
but we do use smarty to fill in some blanks for the forms....
Ithout smart the php will be way to complex and I love the fact that I 
can do
some if statements in the template which makes my PHP class much simpeler...
Typo3's ways of doign teh templates (submarkerstuff) is to simple for 
complicated
form tasks....
