 ... and convince people to use a true template engine, 
 not this homemade marker crap... :-)
 (like Smarty or whatever)

 Kasper (and others) once talked about creating a template engine API to
 allow developers and users to utilize different template engines for
 output, what's up with this "project"? Any ideas, concepts, whatever
 online somewhere?
