Apologies to you both then; my fault for not reading the whole thread
carefully. As mentioned in my reply to Tapio's new thread, generally
you're modifiying tslib/class.tslib_content.php - that's where (as far
as I know) all TS content objects and stdWrap are located (though I
see it contains HMENU, but not e.g. TMENU...the missing items are also
located in tslib though; see the API [1])

You may also be interested in checking out Dan Frost's 
Object-TypoScript extensions [2].
