[Typo3-dev] adding TS in Extension

Have a look at the core. I remember there are some registers set while
creating the menus.
AFAIK you can name them however you like.
Google for something like "count_menuItems" ...
But maybe I'm completely wrong, since I don't know exactly if these
registers are available while reloading the page.
