Yes, but I have to start with a small group. Like you I'm also trying to
focus on development, because we have a tight schedule and TER +
TemplaVoila want to be finished.

Currently I see my role in motivating and organizing some of the core
developers - you, René, Julle, Karsten, Michael. I try to keep the overview
of who is doing what, talk with you on the phone, have an eye on the
roadmap and milestones.

The second part of my R&D work is building a bridge between the developers
and the marketing and administration team. My peers in that area are
Adrian, Daniel and Sabina. 

These tasks currently require about 8 hours a week. If time allows in the
future, I'd like to support and inspire other possible leaders, who
organize documentation, content concept of typo3.org and other fields.

However, I'll never want to turn myself into a manager only. I'm still a
developer and love that work. I lead the R&D committee because I think it's
the best option we currently have. That might be different in the future,
when new people enter the project.
