I would like to have a more sofisticated library, too. The advantage of
that would be that it would ease the use in extensions and handle all the
alax stuff and JS generation f.e. That's way I registered "ajax" as an
extkey back in mid of September already.
The last weeks I was investigating on different php AJAX frameworks. After
all there're some good ones and some bad ones, these are IMO:
good: AjaxAC - simple to use but some weired names for some things
mid: JPspan - many small classes
bad: SAJAX - no OO
So I came up to
* combine the best of all their features
* make them easy to use
* add popular JS libs like "prototype", "scriptacolous" and "behaviour"
* have a good integration with TYPO3
Anyhow I didn't have had the time to implement this lately
What do you think?
