Shouldn't things become better when ext is empty (this was the goal 
AFAIR)? sysext shouldn't get that large.

Can it be done by writing a TYPO3-CLI-Script that loops over all 
"sysext" and "ext" extension and invokes the extension manager's upload 
feature?
