[Typo3-dev] documentation on mountpages?

Hi all,

currently, I'm tweaking a teaser extension to make it work with
mountpages. This has been quite frustrating so far as I haven't been
able to find any documentation on the inner workings of mountpages
(especially tslib_cObj::getClosestMPvalueForPage and
t3lib_pageSelect::getMountPointInfo).

Is there any documentation on this?
