[Typo3-dev] crop whole words and utf-8

:))) A good try. However, the condition does not "fire up" no matter if
it is utf-8 or UTF-8 specified!?... So problem if probably somewhere
around here.

What can be the reason? 

And another thing: php is compiled with multibyte support. 

As I said in anoher post: Am I looking at the right place :))?
