I tried 'iso-8859-15' ('ISO-8859-15' gave an error message

But it didn't help:

http://www.tapionet.net/index.php?id=329&L=1

Missing characters still in the automatic generated GIF-image on the
bottom of the page (Jälleenmyyjät => Jlleenmyyjt)

Indeed a small difference. Before this change the result would be
'Jleenmyyj' - at strange way also characters AFTER missing 'ä' etc. were
missing - now just 'ä' etc.

'ä' is generate only it I would put '& + # + 228 + ;'
But that format can't be used because it cause incorret printing in
ordinary text menus and sitemaps.
