Hi

Typo3 has wizard for selecting content element.
The first concern typical page contents.

Some plugins extenst typical page contents.
Because these plugins are not listed under the content type
'Plugins' but an own content type like 'Text' they can't be listed
directly selectable like 'Text', which has own icon.

The base idea of plugins 'fdfx_2cols', 'fdfx_3cols',
'th_specialelments', 'kb_conttable' is to give alternative layout
possiblities
for ordinary contents, which has text, images and tables.

The would need a new category 'Extended basic content elements' or
rather 'Alternative basic content elements',
when they would be easy to select using the wizard.

When I think about MTB and TemplaVoila in many cases it is for the
user just harmful to alter content area type (MTB) or DS and layout for
DS (TemplaVoila) - expecially TemplaVoila is harmful because many times
it must change both DS and layout for DS.

It many cases aproach 'Extended basic content elements' would be MUCH
EASIER FOR ORDINARY USER OF TYPO3!
But this approach would need a new category for content elements.
