[Typo3-dev] Empty Admin Panel

Anyone have an idea why my custom extension causes the admin to draw without text in it?  Very strange behavior, and I've confirmed it is related to an extension I've built.

My extension registers a couple XCLASS objects, one backend and one front-end, but that is it.  Whenever the extension is installed, no text appears in the admin panel, although it does show up, button and all -- no text.

Suggestions on what I'm doing?
