[Typo3-dev] JS Tickers conflicts with xMENU_LAYERS

When a javascript ticker is running on a page with a menu that is
generated via xMENU_LAYERs, the "hideMenuWhenNotOver" setting will stop
functioning causing menu's to be stuck "open", failing to hide.
Using other options has no apparent effect; dontFollowMouse,
dontFollowMouse, freezeMouseover, etc.

I've tried this with both the JS Ticker extension as well as another,
external, javascript ticker with the exact same results.

Does anyone know of a workaround or fix to bug?
