Oh yes and another one. When the extension cannot reach the LDAP server 
for some reason it waits for ages. You've basically locked yourself out 
of the BE when you make a typo in the domain name.

I tried to set LDAP_OPT_TIMELIMIT, but it seems only to affect searches 
but not the connect/bind. CURL has a connection timeout. Where is the 
one for LDAP? Which remides me that the nice ldaplib class lacks a way 
to set ldap options.
