I can jump in for you in that case.
I don't see any benefit in a Typo3 GUI except competitors block their 
time without getting paid ;-)

Could someone please point out real benefits for me?
I don't take into consideration that you work with ISDN or slower lines 
because stuff like this is nonsense.

I'd say before a lot of people get involved in something that only help 
those who have slow internet connections (remember, everybody is proud 
of Typo3 being client-independent) let's work on stuff like versioning, 
workflow, TS editor, FTP client etc.

If I had the Java or C++ knowledge I'd work on CURRENT projects instead 
of making the current project list longer.
