[Typo3-dev] Call for volunteers: fe extension coordination team

Hello,

I will defenetly follow the discussions. I would like to help, but I it
seems as if I would not have too much time.

The user/address-topic seems rather small, I am more interested in general
interfaces between extensions... Example: I got quite a lot of code doing
standard things like category browser, listview, singleview etc., those
dd_*-extensions online is a preview after people have asked for the
t3board.com-galleriss. The idea in this case would be: You comment media via
an annotation extension. Now you would like to display that commented
element in the annotations list. If you want that, you have to set up code
for that element. If it's a link or a photo or a page or a news item, all of
them would need code within the annotation extension. Rather stupid. Having
a common interface, this could easily be solved. But this is just one of the
things... Of course Hooks would do the trick, but this is still not the
ideal way, as you still have to configure those extensions to make use of
each other.
