[Typo3-dev] [OT] Any idea why mysqldump is NOT supported in safe_mode?

Thanks Mike for that "advise" but already run safe_mode with 
safe_mode_exec_dir. Is anyone using safe_mode=on AND mysqldump? 
mysqldump is executed BUT can't get write access to typo3temp path.
If it should be a problem with installation than also imagemagick should 
fail to execute. Any further helpful hints?
